I have a modem D-Link DSL-320B connected with Tiscali in PPPoA at this modem is connected La Fonera 2.0.

The problem is that Fonera doesn't go online.

I try a lots of configuration both modem and Fonera end their conbination, but nothing works.

I read e tryed http://wiki.fon.com/wiki/Installation_% ... e_to_do.3F
Whit "Tiscali" option and "General" option For Italian connection.
I tryed use "General" connection both modem and fonera the same for "Tiscali".

Fonera's Power led is orange and the say mi tha internet is missconfigured.

Some one can help mi with this configuration?

Thx

P.S. I test my connection directly Pc on modem and works correctly.

Make sure that PPPoA is configured within the modem itself, through it's web interface (192.168.1.1), and that La Fonera is configured for DHCP, through it's web interface (192.168.10.1). Although La Fonera supports PPPoE internally, so you can use "dumb" modems, it does not support PPPoA at all.

I have not made two suggestions. Your response does not make sense. :?

HOW is the modem connected in PPPoA?
HOW is La Fonera on DHCP?
When you say "doesn't work" WHAT is the error message, what is the behaviour you observe? There are a hundred ways of "not work". We can't guess what it is from such a brief complaint. :|

Ok, good. Now the thing is that we need to set up La Fonera just like your PC. Was your PC set to a fixed IP address? Does your ISP "lock" or "register" your PC's MAC address? (this can be a big problem because Fon has decided not to put MAC address cloning into any of their routers)

There is another issue which we still see crop up from time to time. La Fonera has problems with Ethernet speed auto-negotiation with some devices. This is a problem which we usually see in very old, legacy equipment. Take an old hub/switch and place it between your modem and La Fonera. It will solve this problem if this is happening.

[modem]--[hub]--[fonera]
