A new bug was founded by a FONERO, about the bandwidth limit control in THE FONERA.

To make sure the bandwidth limit is working, please do this:

go http://www.fon.com

go to THE FONERO area (user/pass)

go to "CONFIGURE SOCIAL ROUTER"

go to "How much Wi-Fi do you want to share?"

move it upper, and press "update bandwidth limit"

move it back, and press "update bandwidth limit"

ITS DONE !

What's the "default bandwidth limit"?
is it 512kbps as shown on the website .... or is it unlimited???

If you didnt touch the bar, the limit is un-limit.
if you move it upper and then lower, is the limit that you select.

"configure social router" via http://www.fon.com doesn't work...
Changes are only guaranteed when connected via MyPlace on 192.168.10.1 ... tested with several Fonera's doing their website multiple times... waiting for days... with fonera connected... It never changed from MyPlace to YourPlace

and now you mention that "512kbps" shown by default is by default rather "unlimited".... but your fix is only possible if I drop at each location to connect to their Myplace?

They were allready complaining any linus/Alien can come & leech >10gbytes and thus put the hotspot at 64kbps for the rest of the month...
no solution for something like that is offered as well :(
